For MGAs and program administrators
Every carrier wants its own bordereau. Your team should not build each one by hand.
You report to several capacity providers every month, each in its own layout, from one book of business. We build the reconciliation inside the systems you already run, at a fixed price, and hand it over. You keep it, with no subscription.
What the close looks like now
Twenty carriers, twenty layouts
One book of record becomes a different spreadsheet for every binding authority. Someone keys, pivots and checks each one by hand, every month.
Reported against booked
What you reported and what the carrier booked drift apart by a few policies and a few thousand dollars. Nobody owns the difference until an audit finds it.
The renewal depends on it
Capacity providers are shortening contracts and asking for more data. The reporting you send this year is what next year's capacity is judged on.
Start with one month's files
Send one month's bordereaux and the matching extract from your policy system. Within five business days you get a written read: what matched, what broke and by how much, which carrier layouts need a mapping, and what we would build first.
Under a mutual NDA. Redacted or sample files are fine. We work on your files on our own machines and delete them when the read is delivered. There is no charge and no obligation.
- You send
- One month's bordereaux, any format, and the policy-system extract for the same period
- You get
- A written reconciliation read, with the breaks listed and the first build scoped

- 5 business days
- Cost

What we build
A reconciliation that runs every month without anyone rebuilding it. It runs in your systems. You own everything we build for you, and you keep a permanent, royalty-free licence to the reconciliation engine underneath it, so there is nothing to renew.
Each carrier statement reconciled against your book
Every policy, premium and claim line is classified: matched, value break with the amount, missing on one side, or duplicated. Nothing is lost or counted twice, and the totals prove it.
One mapping per carrier, held as configuration
Each capacity provider's layout is a versioned mapping your operations team can read and edit. Add a carrier and you add a mapping, not a process.
An exceptions queue your team reviews
Breaks land in a short list with the evidence beside each one. A person decides; the system records the decision.
An audit file that assembles itself
Each run writes what was received, what was checked, what broke and who resolved it, so the delegated-authority audit is a folder, not a scramble.
Four numbers, measured before and after
Days from period close to delivery. Reconciliation variance. Bordereaux rejected by a carrier. Hours of manual keying. We measure them on your files first, then every month.
Price
-
Reconciliation build
From $12,000
three to four weeks
One book of record, up to five carrier layouts, one policy system. More carriers are priced per mapping before work starts.
You leave with
- The reconciliation running on your last three months
- A mapping for each carrier, in your repository
- The exceptions queue and audit file
- Documentation and a handoff session
-
Monthly run and support
From $2,500 a month
optional, month to month
We run the close with you, add carriers as they come, and fix what a carrier changes in its layout.
Each month you receive
- The run, reviewed before you send
- New or changed carrier mappings
- The four numbers, reported
- A short note on what changed
Fixed scope and a fixed fee, in writing before work starts. The statement of work sets out what you own and what you license. If an existing product fits your close better than a build, we say so and quote the connection instead.
What we will not build
A system that decides coverage, pricing or a claim
Those decisions stay with your underwriters and adjusters. We build the file they decide from.
A dashboard on top of unreconciled data
A chart over bad numbers looks finished and is not. We fix the reconciliation first.
A replacement for a spreadsheet that works
If your close runs on a workbook your team trusts, we read from it and write around it.
Anything without a named reviewer
Every build has a person who sees the exceptions and signs off. Without one it only moves the work.
Who does the work
Eric Henschel built the data pipelines behind research and credit analysis at Bloomberg and a market-data warehouse at Assured Guaranty, a financial guaranty insurer. We are engineers, not former underwriters: we learn your close from your files and your people, and we build what your operations team can run without us. About the firm
